Job summary

Legacy Nursing in Louisiana is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role encompasses cleaning resident rooms and common areas, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper chemical handling and safety procedures.

The position requires reliability, adherence to HIPAA, dress code, and completing required clock-in/out procedures. Prior housekeeping or LTC experience is preferred, with ongoing training provided to maintain facility

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Must be free from illegal drug use and drug/alcohol misuse in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and sanitizing services for resident, common, and staff areas with residents as a priority.
• Clean and sanitize rooms, dining rooms, bathrooms, and other facility areas using approved chemicals and tools.
• Store and label chemicals safely and keep cleaning tools secured after use.
• Stock paper supplies and keep soap and sanitizer dispensers stocked and in working order.
• Report maintenance issues and participate in in-service training as required.
