Apploi is seeking a Food Services Director for a long-term care facility in New Jersey. You will oversee dietary operations, supervise staff, plan menus, ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance to provide high-quality nutrition and service for residents.

The role requires a degree in food service management or hospitality, ServSafe Manager certification, and strong leadership. You will manage budgeting, training, and cross-department collaboration to maintain survey readiness.

Formación

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers required.
• CDM/CFPP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in food service, ideally in long-term care.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains staff in procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans and supervises dietary department functions and activities.
• Manages staffing schedules and ensures adequate service levels.
• Maintains records for inventory, compliance and personnel data.
• Ensures cost-effective budgeting and quality assurance.
• Maintains readiness for surveys and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and interdepartmental collaboration.
