Job summary

Suncoast East - Sarasota, FL 34232 is seeking a Full Time dining services assistant to support meal service for residents. You will help prepare meals, follow safety and sanitation procedures, and maintain a clean dining room and kitchen environment on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include serving residents at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, communicating clearly with residents, and adhering to HIPAA requirements. A high school diploma or GED is required with minimal prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Language Ability: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning Ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
• Education/Experience: high school diploma or GED; or less than one year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, dining area and food storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents in a language they understand.
• Ensure a safe environment free of hazards for residents and staff.
