Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, safety, and resident satisfaction, working with a dedicated team in a supportive kitchen environment.

Starting pay is USD 17.50 per hour. You will follow menus, maintain sanitation standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
