Distinctive Living in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Cook for the Mira Vie at Toms River community. The role supports the Restaurant and Hospitality Department and ensures meals meet dietary and safety standards.

You will work under the Director of Restaurant and Hospitality, collaborate with staff, maintain kitchen cleanliness, handle resident feedback, and help with training and new hire onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality with planning and coaching in the Food Service Department.
• Follows menu and dietary requirements and supports food purchasing as directed.
• Maintains high resident satisfaction by meeting resident preferences and ensuring proper meal quality.
