Job summary

Ginkgo Residential LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Winston-Salem community. This role supports the Service Manager and handles preventative, corrective, emergency, and cosmetic repairs to keep apartments and common spaces up to standard.

With at least 2 years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and a customer-first mindset, you will perform inspections, make-ready work, and respond to on-call requests on a rotating schedule. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential settings.
• HVAC certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Excellent customer service and communication with a people-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance per policies and standards.
• Complete service requests promptly and professionally, prioritizing residents' needs.
• Prepare vacant homes with necessary repairs for new residents in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
