Job summary

Jones Street Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community and supervise on-site staff. The role focuses on achieving financial and operational objectives while delivering outstanding resident service and maintaining compliance with laws and company standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in residential property management, experience with market-rate communities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in residential property management.
• Experience with market-rate communities and tenancy laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure company standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster resident relations.
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and laws.
• Maintain records such as rent rolls and move-ins/outs.
• Assist with leasing, renewals and occupancy management.
• Coordinate with maintenance and leasing staff.
• Ensure financial goals are understood and pursued.
