Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Community Manager for a 300+ unit property to lead a dynamic team, oversee daily operations, and drive resident satisfaction while protecting financial performance. This role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and compliance, with responsibility for occupancy, marketing programs, and high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Industry certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• 3+ years of hands-on property management experience.
• Multifamily property experience required.
• Previous Community Manager experience preferred.
• Successful supervisor track record preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and reports.
• Experience managing housing vouchers and subsidies.
• Experience writing and maintaining budgets.
• Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Yardi or other PM software.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
• Track record of maintaining occupancy and NOI.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams: recruit, coach, and motivate high performers.
• Drive financial performance: manage budgets and reporting.
• Ensure operational excellence: maintain occupancy and inspections.
• Elevate marketing and customer service: online presence and retention.
• Address resident concerns professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate move-ins and investor tours when needed.
