Job summary

CCHI is seeking a warm, organized Resident Experience Manager to oversee the day-to-day experience at The Commons in Highland Park, IL. This role serves as a central point of contact for residents, families, staff, visitors, and service providers to ensure that communication, services, and daily operations run smoothly.

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building positive relationships.
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, databases, and other administrative technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to questions and concerns, connect people with resources, and follow through.
  • Help welcome new residents and families and support their transition into the community.
  • Communicate information about programs, services, schedules, and activities.
  • Oversee front desk operations, including staffing, procedures, visitor access, deliveries, and communications.
  • Supervise and support front desk staff and volunteers.
  • Coordinate communication and scheduling with service providers, kitchen staff, programming staff, and other Commons personnel.
  • Maintain current provider and staff information.
  • Ensure staff and providers understand relevant Commons procedures and expectations.
  • Bring operational or staffing concerns to CCHI leadership.
  • Coordinate day-to-day communication with kitchen staff and food service providers.
  • Help ensure meal schedules, dietary information, supplies, and resident needs are communicated.
  • Coordinate with programming staff regarding meals and community events.
  • Maintain resident records, forms, schedules, contact lists, and required paperwork.
  • Assist with resident onboarding and documentation.
  • Develop simple systems to keep information organized and ensure follow-up.
  • Work with the Building Management Company to ensure maintenance, repair, safety, or other building concerns reported by residents or staff are communicated and followed through.
  • Keep residents and staff informed about building issues that affect them.

Job description

Salary: $55-65K; competitive rate based on experience

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri with some weekends and holidays

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Community & Resident Experience
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to questions and concerns, connect people with the appropriate resources, and follow through.
  • Help welcome new residents and families and support their transition into the community.
  • Communicate information about programs, services, schedules, and community activities.
Front Desk

  • Maintain resident records, forms, schedules, contact lists, and required paperwork.
  • Assist with resident onboarding and documentation.
  • Develop simple systems to keep information organized and ensure follow-up.
Building Coordination
  • Work with the Building Management Company to ensure maintenance, repair, safety, or other building concerns reported by residents or staff are communicated and followed through.
  • Keep residents and staff informed about building issues that affect them.

*This position does not perform building repairs or manage building maintenance.
