Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Resident Experience Coordinator to create engaging experiences that help residents connect and thrive. You will lead monthly activity calendars, coordinate outings, and partner with local entertainers and vendors to build a vibrant community.

The role requires a background in social services or related fields, plus leadership and senior living experience. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor's in Social Services, Business, Recreation, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in assisted living or senior living preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Creative, energetic, and able to lead activities.

Responsabilités

• Get to know each resident and learn interests, goals, and preferences.
• Welcome new residents and introduce them to activities and events.
• Create and lead a monthly calendar of engaging activities.
• Coordinate daily activities, celebrations, and events.
• Build relationships with local entertainers, vendors, and partners.
• Coordinate resident outings and transportation needs.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing for quarterly events.
• Promote activities to increase participation and engagement.
• Manage activities budget and make supply decisions.
• Help create an inclusive, connected community atmosphere.
• Lead by example and support teammates in a positive culture.

We are currently hiring for our Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge community located in St. Petersburg, FL.

What You'll Do

• Get to know each resident and discover their interests, passions, preferences, and goals.


• Welcome new residents to the community and introduce them to all the fun and opportunities our Resident Experience program offers.


• Create and lead a monthly calendar of engaging activities and events designed around residents' intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual interests.


• Coordinate daily activities, entertainment, celebrations, and special events that residents genuinely want to attend.


• Build relationships with local entertainers, vendors, organizations, and community partners.


• Coordinate resident outings, including local adventures, sightseeing, special destinations, and scheduled transportation needs.


• Partner with Sales & Marketing to create memorable quarterly events that showcase our community and celebrate our residents.


• Promote activities throughout the community and find creative ways to increase participation.


• Manage the activities budget and make thoughtful decisions about supplies, entertainment, and events.


• Help create an atmosphere where residents feel included, connected, and excited about what's next!


• Lead by example, support your teammates, and help create a positive community culture.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Business, Recreation, or a related field preferred.


• Proven leadership or management experience.


• At least 3 years of assisted living or senior living experience preferred.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Creative, energetic, and comfortable taking the lead.


• Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple activities and events.


• Comfortable working with residents with different abilities, interests, and personalities.


• Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred.


• A genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences for older adults.
