Job summary

IVY AT HAWAII KAI, a premier senior living community, seeks a Concierge to greet visitors, fulfill resident requests, arrange tours, answer a multi-line telephone, and provide clerical support to the administrative staff, in line with the company’s mission and values. The Concierge role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service skills; hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality or senior living experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with employees, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).
• COVID-19 PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond promptly to calls.
• Effectively manage the business center and mail processing.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
