Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a proactive Community Manager to supervise daily operations of the apartment community and implement company policies. You will oversee staff, leasing, budgeting, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws to ensure a well-maintained property.

The role requires English fluency, strong communication, and at least 3 years of property management experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Achieve Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and maintain a harmonious environment; handle administrative processes.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• File reports on work-related injuries.
• Maintain accurate records of community transactions and submit timely reports (rent rolls, delinquency, move-ins/outs).
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; manage rents and fees collection.
