Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations and implement company policies, ensuring a well-managed, compliant property. The role oversees leasing, budgets, risk management, and staff performance in a high-collaboration environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property management; English fluency required, Spanish a plus. CAM/ARM certifications preferred, with a college degree preferred and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• College degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
• Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Proficiency with computer skills and MS Office.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and lead a harmonious environment; manage performance processes.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• File reports on work-related injuries.
• Maintain records of community transactions and submit timely reports.
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; manage rents and late fees.
