Job summary

Edgewood Properties is seeking a Full-Time Resident Specialist for its luxury apartment community The Edge at Raritan Heights, New Brunswick, NJ. You will act as liaison between leasing, maintenance, and residents to ensure smooth daily operations and strong resident engagement.

Responsibilities include handling feedback, coordinating service requests, processing lease renewals, ensuring renters insurance compliance, and assisting with move-ins and move-outs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Experience in property management or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents daily and record status of resident household in RealPage to “Know Thy Resident”.
• Monitor and respond to resident feedback via surveys and direct communication.
• Directly respond to internal satisfaction surveys and follow up with residents to resolve issues.
• Print and review daily service requests and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Ensure service requests have documented Permission to Enter (PTE).
• Maintain ongoing communication with the maintenance team about tasks and inspections.
• Process lease renewals and document required paperwork.
• Verify renters insurance compliance and address non-compliance fees as needed.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including unit turns.
• Assist with community events budgeting and planning.
• Maintain the community calendar and engagement via LOFT and social media.
• Manage clubhouse and amenities upkeep and supplies.
• Update social media with content promoting the community lifestyle.
