Apploi is seeking an activity assistant to plan, coordinate, and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic programs in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and community centers in Warren, Michigan. You will implement daily activities, engage residents one-on-one, manage spaces and equipment, and document attendance and resident feedback for the care team.

This role supports mental and physical well-being by organizing events and adapting activities to various abilities.

Mansioni

• Plan and run daily group and individual activities such as arts and crafts, music, exercise classes, and games.
• Spend one-on-one time with participants, encourage social interaction, and adapt activities to match different physical or cognitive ability levels.
• Prepare activity spaces, set up and clean up equipment, and assist with organizing special events, birthdays, and community outings.
• Track daily attendance, log participant feedback, and report any notable changes in a resident’s behavior or health to the care team.
