Job summary

Pine Village is seeking an engaged Life Enrichment Coordinator to support the Life Enrichment team with planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents. You will work under the Life Enrichment Director to ensure activities align with resident care plans and facility policies.

Qualifications

• The Activities Assistant must possess: valid CNA license/certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing a monthly activity calendar.
• Ensure monthly calendar is posted in a prominent area and copied to each resident's room.
• Interview residents or families to determine activity preferences.
• Coordinate transportation and assist residents to activity locations.
• Assist in conducting activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
• Document attendance and chart progress notes describing services and resident responses.
• Observe mood and involvement and report changes to the Activities Director.
• Engage residents and families in planning when possible.
• Assist with in-room activities and offsite field trips as needed.
