Job summary

Stellantis Sterling Stamping Plant's Quality team seeks a Resident Engineer to join our drive for manufacturing excellence in the automotive field. You will guide cross-functional groups and provide SME-level technical direction to protect design intent and improve processes.

You will lead data-driven testing, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions, coordinating with internal and external partners to meet schedules while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in applying quality initiatives.
• Experience delivering data-driven quality improvements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate quality objectives and communicate customer demands across groups.
• Provide expert leadership coordinating cross-functional teams in applying quality initiatives.
• Lead root-cause analysis and establish corrective actions as SME within the facility.
• Interpret engineering designs and standards for hourly and salary personnel.
• Drive process variation reduction and mitigation of engineering/financial issues.
