Job summary

State of Oklahoma Guymon Residency Engineer position requires oversight of on-site construction projects within District 6, including contract administration and inspections.

You will supervise staff, coordinate utilities and stakeholders, review submittals and manage changes to ensure timely project completion with adherence to plans and specifications. PE registration is required, with supervisory experience and budget responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Professional Engineer is required.
• Experience supervising professional engineers.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage engineering projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of budgeting and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site representative for construction contracts and oversight.
• Supervise inspection staff, review submittals, and enforce contract compliance.
• Coordinate utilities, change orders, project closeouts, and stakeholder communication.
• Liaise with Division Construction Engineer, contractors, utilities, consultants, and the public.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, policies and directives.
