Responsibilities:

1. Verify that construction is performed per contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
2. Manage inspection services to achieve on-time and on-budget completion.
3. Review and ensure daily narratives, daily labor, and time and material reports are completed accurately and timely.
4. Coordinate construction work with facility operations, maintenance, other contractors, and other stakeholders.
5. Review contract drawings for constructability, staging, and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• 15+ years of experience in multi-discipline transportation construction projects for CTDOT is required, with an emphasis on bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction.
• A licensed Professional Engineer is required.
• Project experience in excess of $30 million is preferred.
