Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Resident Engineer with heavy highway experience for our Construction Engineering Department in Camden and Newark, NJ. You will manage on-site inspection, review submittals, and coordinate with Project Managers to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license or NICET III/IV, and at least eight years of resident engineering experience on NJ Agency projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET III/IV Certification required.
• Experience performing construction inspection on prior New Jersey Agency projects.
• Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a Resident Engineer.
• Advanced ability to read and understand Contract Documents.
• Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check.
• Ability to perform Night work, if required.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
