Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Construction Engineering department in Newark, NJ. You will manage multiple transportation construction projects, review schedules, and prepare reports.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, a PE license, and at least eight years of construction experience with two years in project management; AutoCAD and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (or related field).
• Experience with construction inspection on civil projects.
• PE license required or obtainable; strong organizational skills and PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage pay estimates, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Manage multiple transportation construction projects concurrently.
• Review and track construction schedules; prepare reports.

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Construction Engineering department for our office in Newark, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Process all projects related Pay Estimates, Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFI’s, and Change Orders.
• Manage multiple transportation related construction projects at once.
• Review, track, and markup Construction Schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Chair meetings.
• Interface with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and/or Construction/Engineering related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License
• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction related experience and two(2) years of Project Management experience.
• Experience performing construction inspection on Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office preferred but not required.
• Candidate should be motivated, organized, and willing to work in the office and field.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
