Job summary

GFT is seeking a Resident Engineer to join our Construction Services team in Los Angeles. You will oversee construction phases and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.

The position requires managing multiple projects, acting as Owner Agent, and engaging in construction management while providing oversight and inspection services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• CCM preferred.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services.
• Conducts and documents project meetings with clients and contractors.
• Manages construction field personnel.
• Negotiates and approves construction change orders.
• Resolves technical issues.
