Resident Engineer page is loaded## Resident Engineerlocations: Hartford, Connecticuttime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR5068**STV is seeking a Resident Engineer for our Transportation Northeast department in Hartford, CT****Responsibilities:*** Oversee and direct construction projects related to highway/bridges, facilities/buildings, or rail/transit projects from conception to closeout.* Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.* Identify and document nonconforming work and ensure timely corrective action* Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.* Review and ensure DWR’s are completed accurately and timely* Monitor contractor performance, project schedules, milestones, project progress, and critical path* Supervise and mentor inspectors and field technicians to ensure proper coverage and documentation.* Serve as the primary contact with CTDOT and project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.* Prepare correspondence, reports, and recommendations regarding construction issues.**Required Qualifications:*** Professional Engineering License (PE) with 8 years of experience or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) with 10 years of experience.
