Genesiscareers is seeking an Activity Assistant in Huntington, VA to plan and run engaging activities for patients and residents in a long-term care setting. You will help design monthly recreation services and document participation while coordinating with the care team.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong English communication, solid organization, and the ability to positively engage with residents, families, and staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients.
• Effective communication and good organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
