Job summary

Bristol City Council is seeking a Project Officer within the Major Projects and Specialist Projects Teams, based in Housing Services. You will lead resident engagement, coordinate communication between residents, project teams, contractors and stakeholders, and support the delivery of major refurbishment and cladding remediation projects.

The role requires organized, proactive individuals with project management experience in housing or construction, familiarity with risk logs, progress

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a housing and/or project management related subject or relevant experience.
• Experience of developing, producing and maintaining project documentation including risk logs and progress reports.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate resident engagement across major projects and specialist projects.
• Support refurbishment, structural repair and improvement projects across housing stock.
• Produce and maintain project plans, risk registers, process maps and performance reports.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Support consultation activities, stakeholder meetings and workshops.
