Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement and volunteer services across neighborhoods, including memory care. You will oversee programs, supervise staff and volunteers, recruit partners, and measure impact on resident satisfaction.

This role focuses on delivering exceptional resident and family experiences, coordinating events, and collaborating with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Experience using volunteer engagement platforms and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across neighborhoods, including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
