Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Lantern Hill community in New Providence, NJ is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to energize resident life through engaging programs and events. You’ll work closely with residents, staff, and outside vendors to create a vibrant community experience.

As a trusted advocate for residents, you’ll organize activities, coordinate logistics, track interests, and help coordinate off-campus excursions while balancing schedules and resources to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in service-related roles.
• Experience with senior citizens preferred.
• Occasionally weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage events.
• May direct and produce community activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for residents by organizing engaging activities and events.
• Understand resident interests and plan activities accordingly.
• Coordinate room usage, setup, and AV needs for events.
• Maintain communication among residents and staff.
• Support philanthropy and fundraising campaigns.
• Coordinate off-campus excursions and transportation.
