Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator (Finance) to coordinate and execute resident engagement programs at the community level in Tennessee. The role involves planning monthly calendars in partnership with residents and coordinating events with the leadership team to ensure engaging activities that align with residents’ interests.

The position emphasizes collaboration, driving community events, and offering a person-centered approach to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute events (holiday, family, educational, etc.).
• Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement, including driving a community vehicle.
