Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents, tailored to their individual needs and preferences
• Coordinating with the rehabilitation team to incorporate activities into individualized treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate records of resident participation and progress
• Building relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a warm and welcoming environment
• Participating in daily care conferences and contributing to care planning discussions
• Providing support to other departments as needed, such as assisting with mealtime, transportation, and medication management
