Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Activities Aide to plan and conduct individual and group resident activities within a long-term care setting. You will assist in developing monthly calendars, maintaining attendance records, and supporting discharge planning and transportation as needed.

This role requires clear communication with residents, families, staff, and external agencies to ensure residents’ needs are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individual and group activities for residents.
• Assist in developing monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records.
• Support discharge planning and arrange transportation for residents as needed.
• Foster communication among residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Assist with assessment documentation and keep the Activity Department organized.
