WeCare Centers is actively seeking a Transportation Aide for our community in New Castle, PA! As a Transportation Aide you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families and co-workers.
Report all pertinent information concerning resident care as detected to appropriate personnel.
Drive facility provided vehicle.
Transport residents, staff and volunteers to desired destinations.
Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available as indicated.
Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs.
Ensures a safe environment
Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
Valid, unencumbered state drivers license.
1-2 years transportation experience preferred.
Previous long term care experience.
Must have experience transporting and transferring residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
