Job summary

Goodman Real Estate in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support resident comfort by diagnosing and repairing issues inside apartments and in common areas.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, painting, and preventive upkeep, while maintaining safety and quality. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required; this is a full-time, non-exempt role with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Working knowledge of basic maintenance tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to concentrate with minimal interruption.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for occupancy.
• Respond to service requests.
• Perform maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and appliances (emergencies).
• Maintain pools and HVAC systems.
• Interior and exterior painting.
• Provide excellent tenant service and maintain safe work area.
• Maintain inventory and report repairs.
