Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree; demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.
• Commitment to Assumption University mission and Catholic identity, with ability to articulate Catholic teachings.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, just, and equitable residential environment.
• Proficiency with common administrative software and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and evaluate a team of Resident Assistants, including a Head RA; assist in recruitment and training.
• Foster programming and engagement to maintain a vibrant residential community; monitor student wellbeing.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to emergencies and policy violations; maintain visibility in residence halls.
• Coordinate hall openings/closings, room changes, maintenance requests and safety inspections.
• Collaborate with campus departments to support student success and retention; attend team meetings and trainings.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority under Clery Act; act as Responsible Employee for Title IX; support Community Standards processes.
