Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the Dietary Department. The role focuses on assisting in meal preparation, tray assembly, and serving residents and staff while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

As a non-exempt, on-site position, it requires attention to cleanliness, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to all dietary policies and procedures. A high school diploma is required with ServSafe certification and prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices.
• Willingness to learn, follow policies, and perform duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals, snacks, salads, and desserts as directed.
• Prepare trays and assist with food tray line according to dietary orders.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Bag, store, and portion food items; maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Participate in dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation logs as required.
• Maintain proper storage of items and report equipment issues to supervisor.
