Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Services Aide to provide friendly, efficient service in our Healthcare Center dining areas. You will wait on tables, take resident meal orders, and assist with tray-line prep and cleanup, ensuring smooth service across shifts.

The ideal candidate has dining and healthcare experience, strong communication, and a solid understanding of sanitation and HACCP practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant dining experience.
• One year experience in a Healthcare setting.
• Effective reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills required.
• Knowledge of sanitation, foodborne illness, HACCP protocols.
• Knowledge of dining room procedures and etiquette; residents rights.
• Willingness to work with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Wait on assigned tables.
• Take resident meal orders.
• Setup and bus tables.
• Pre-service setup of tray-line.
• Assembling individual meals on tray-line.
• Ensure all shift duties are completed before close.
