Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous meal service to residents and guests in the dining room. You will assist in serving, bussing, and maintaining clean dining areas, and may support meetings and special events with food service.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, read and follow instructions, and work with empathy and professionalism in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner meals to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch and stage desserts; light food prep for special events.
• Assist in setting up meetings or events, including snacks, coffee, tea, etc.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
