Job summary

Yona Solutions in Grove City, Ohio is seeking a friendly, experienced Server to join our dining services team serving residents. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare salads and beverages, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining room.

The ideal candidate has proven server experience, strong customer service skills, knowledge of sanitation standards, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment. A high school diploma and background check are required; certification in food services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven server experience required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Able to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with strong communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food services certification is a plus.
• Criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of food in quantities as per menu and guest numbers.
• Set up dining room as instructed.
• Prepare salads and beverages.
• Greet customers and ensure dining area is clean and stocked.
• Distribute menus and present daily specials.
• Answer questions about the menu.
• Take resident orders and serve meals promptly.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to residents' satisfaction.
• Clean eating areas, work spaces, and utensils according to procedures.
• Collect and return dirty dishes; wash cooking equipment and utensils.
• Clean surfaces, sweep and mop floors.
• Remove garbage and store food properly.
• Report issues to Food Services Director.
• Comply with sanitation standards.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
