Job summary

Yona Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a Server to join our team. You will provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while assisting with dining room setup and serving meals.

The role requires proven experience as a server, good communication, and knowledge of sanitation standards. You will collaborate with the Food Services Director and help maintain a clean dining environment and deliver excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Server.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu and number of residents.
• Set up dining room as instructed and greet residents as they are seated.
• Prepare salads and beverages and distribute menus and daily specials.
• Take resident orders and serve meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to residents' satisfaction; return incorrect orders to kitchen.
• Clean eating areas, work areas, equipment and utensils per procedures.
• Store food in designated areas and report issues to Food Services Director.
• Comply with state and federal sanitation standards and health care safety standards.
