Yona Solutions in Madeira, OH seeks a friendly Server to provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors and coworkers. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, serve meals promptly, and ensure smooth dining room operations in accordance with sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a server.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu and number of persons served.
• Sets up dining room as instructed and prepares items such as salads and beverages.
• Greets customers as they are seated; presents menus and takes resident orders.
• Distributes menus and presents daily specials; answers questions regarding the menu.
• Takes resident orders in dining room and serves meals promptly.
• Ensures food is prepared correctly and to residents' satisfaction; returns incorrect orders to kitchen.
• Cleans dining areas, work areas, equipment and utensils per procedures.
• Stores food appropriately; washes dishes and cooking equipment; cleans surfaces.
• Remains compliant with state and federal sanitation and safety standards.
• Reports issues to Food Services Director and attends required meetings.
