Job summary

The Overlook in Charlton, MA seeks a dining room associate to perform established Steps of Service, ensuring residents and guests receive gracious and efficient service. This role emphasizes timely turnover and HACCP-compliant food handling.

Work includes operating a cash register as needed, and supporting the Dining Room Manager. Candidates must be reliable and prepared to work during inclement weather and high-priority events as an essential worker.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Desire to work with an older population in an Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facility.
• Ability to push a cart full of trays/meals to the different floors and residence areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service.
• Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• May operate cash register and point of sale software.
• Other roles and responsibility as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
• This position is an essential worker position. It is required that candidates are available to work during inclement weather and other high-priority events.
