Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a server to courteously serve residents and guests, assist with menu orders, beverages, and tray service. The role includes clean-up and resetting the dining room after meals, supporting residents with mobility and memory needs, and attending in-services and staff meetings.

A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. 401k and benefits for full-time and part-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after meals.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Assist with tray service and clean-up; reset dining room after meals.
