Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and maintain a clean dining environment in Douglasville, GA. The role requires effective communication, adherence to service standards, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include beverage service, dining room clean-up, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with menu orders.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and dining room clean-up, resetting after meals.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room; report broken equipment or tableware.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings; follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
• Work with flexibility to accommodate evenings, weekends and holidays.
