Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Virginia Beach is seeking a Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals, assist with menu orders, and help with clean-up and setting the dining room after meals.

Responsibilities include beverage service, assisting residents with tray service, and maintaining confidentiality and high hygiene standards. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays while working with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Must be in clean uniform and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Server serves resident and guest meals courteously and assists with menu orders.
• Provides beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee/tea).
• Refills condiments and assists with tray service for residents.
• Reports broken equipment or tableware to supervisor and ensures proper cleanliness.
• Interacts with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors in a polite and respectful manner.
