Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Yorktown, VA is seeking a Part-time Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals and assist with dining room setup and cleanup. This role supports tray service and beverage service while maintaining a clean dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls as needed.
• Assist with tray service and dining room setup/cleanup.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
