Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a friendly dining associate to serve meals to residents, taking orders and delivering food in a courteous manner. The role includes maintaining sanitation, assisting residents, and staying within company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Must meet state health-related requirements and age-related requirements.
• Effective English communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents at the table and take orders.
• Deliver meals to kitchen and residents; serve beverages and meals.
• Assist residents with opening packages and food handling as needed.
• Set tables, clear and bus dining area, and clean dining spaces.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies and training requirements.
