Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a friendly Dining Services Associate who serves meals and supports residents with courteous, attentive service. You will be cross-trained in other dining roles and work under the Community Executive Chef and Management Team to ensure smooth meal delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents (and visitors if applicable) at table before taking orders or serving.
• Politely and efficiently takes meal orders and delivers them to kitchen.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
• Cleans dining room tables and chairs; busses tables; sets tables for next meal.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Executive Chef and/or the Community Management Team.
