Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Corvallis, OR, is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server to provide meals to residents at their tables in accordance with our procedures. This role is universal; you will be cross-trained in other positions by the Community Executive Chef and the Community Management Team.

You will greet residents, take and deliver orders, assist with opening packages, and ensure dining areas are clean and ready for the next meal.

Qualifications

• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Meets state or provincial health-related requirements.
• Demonstrates a commitment to and respect for all individuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents at table before taking orders or serving.
• Politley and efficiently takes meal orders and delivers them to kitchen.
• Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
• Cleans dining room tables and chairs.
• Sets tables for next meal.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Executive Chef and/or the Community Management Team.
