Beehive Homes of Vernal is seeking a positive, compassionate cook to join our residential care community. The 7:00am–2:00pm shift focuses on preparing nutritious meals and coordinating with staff.

You will follow menus, ensure sanitation, and support residents and families with dietary needs while upholding our values of compassion and teamwork.

Experience in food service is preferred; high school diploma required; background check and certifications may be needed.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• First aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Background check (BCI) required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience in the food service field preferred.
• Food handler permit required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare nutritious meals according to written menus and dietary needs.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Serve meals and ensure portions meet guidelines.
• Review residents' diet information with care staff.
• Monitor inventory and order food within budget.
• Post weekly menus and communicate changes to staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.
• Oversee kitchen and equipment maintenance.
