Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents in Elk Grove, CA. You will ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a welcoming community.

We look for someone with a passion for the elderly, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A ServSafe certification and First Aid are preferred, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to obtain local food handling licenses as required.
• First Aid certification required.
• Must be 18+ and pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, background checks.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents' dining preferences and dietary needs are met
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy
• Perform other duties as assigned
