Vintage Gardens in St. Joseph, MO, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a friendly Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents and guests in the dining room with professionalism and courtesy.

You will help ensure a welcoming dining experience that supports resident comfort and nourishment. Key duties include assisting with drink and food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety of dining areas, restocking refreshment stations, and adhering to sanitation standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Education preferred: high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation and performs assigned tasks in clean up and setting up dining areas.
• Prepares and serves snacks and replenishes stock items in common area refreshment centers.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards to comply with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities to ensure effective food service.
